5.0 rating

Getting right down to the root of your itchiest skin patches is important when you’re trying to look and feel your best. From dry and flaking skin to scarring and flare-ups, finding the right eczema cream is the name of the game.

That’s why I had to write a Derma E Eczema Skin Cream review.

Previously sold under the name Psorzema Cream, Derma E has relaunched the cream under the name Derma E Eczema Relief Cream. Marketed as a new enhanced version, the cream has quickly gained popularity across the international online market.

Derma E Eczema Relief Cream Review: Get Relief Fast

For those suffering from eczema or psoriasis, combatting the effects of eczema can seem insurmountable. Every time you get just one flareup to subside, it seems like another one is right around the corner.

More often than not, it can seem like your poor skin never has a chance to fully heal.

From itch relief and dryness remedies to anti-scarring agents and inflammation reduction, approaching your eczema proactively won’t only reduce your discomfort but will improve the appearance of your skin in the long term.

What Is the Best Skin Care for Eczema?

I started the Eczema Skin Review to find the perfect Eczema product. With thousands of creams on the market, I became fed up with my constant purchases, experiments, and underwhelming experiences.

The best skincare for eczema includes hydration, inflammation reduction, fast cellular regeneration, and itch relief.

Ingredient Examination: What Gets Rid of Eczema Fast?

Natural ingredients and those that boast lots of essential vitamins are intrinsic to your skin’s vitality. Whether you have a flare-up or are searching for a way to repair damaged skin, you need ingredients that repair skin cells while also soothing your skin.

Popular eczema ingredients include tea tree oil, coconut oil, and honey. Products like Wild Naturals and Ellieve Organics do a great job of using these ingredients proactively.

Yet, Derma E Eczema Relief Cream doesn’t rely on any of those traditional elements. Instead, it goes above and beyond to include some of the world’s most sought-after skin-repair ingredients.

These are its most notable ingredients:

Neem Leaf

Neem Leaf Extract eliminates unsightly redness and reduces inflammation. This is terrific news for eczema sufferers who are also combatting comorbid conditions such as Rosacea.

Burdock Root Extract

Burdock Root Extract is heavy in both Vitamin A and C, both of which are essential to your skin’s finesse. Both help restore skin and encourage skin-cell growth, which is vital to bouncing back from a flare-up.

Bearberry Extract

Bearberry Extract is chock-full of antioxidants that will help your skin retain its youthful appearance, elasticity, and all-over health.

At a Glance: Derma E Eczema Relief Cream Review

With standard packaging, an extremely competitive price point, and unique ingredients, Derma E Eczema Relief Cream caught my eye because of the value it held.

With more elite ingredients than its competitors and an ultra-low price point, I had to see if this cream lived up to its reputation. These were my first impressions.

Scent

Like most all-natural creams, Derma E is fragrance-free and has very little naturally occurring smell to it. While I can usually pinpoint a few scents from the natural products, Derma E is surprisingly scentless.

Size

Derma E comes packed in a nice blue jar with a twist-off lid. It’s currently available in a 4 oz. container, though I could see them beginning to manufacture other sizes as they do for a few of their other products.

Texture

It’s silky smooth and non-greasy, which meant that it absorbed ultra-quickly, didn’t stain my clothes, and didn’t aggravate my sensitive skin.

While it’s packaged in a bigger container, you really don’t need to use a lot. Just lightly press your finger on top of the cream and you’ll have enough on your finger to tackle one flareup area.

Color

Like many popular eczema creams, Derma E has a cold-cream-like appearance. Thick and white, the cream is quite deceptive as it is much more lightweight than you might anticipate. The cream dries on clear in less than 10 seconds once applied.

Cost

I can’t stress the value of this product enough. On Amazon, you can get this eczema cream for $18 or less. Amazon is cheaper than the manufacturer’s price of $20.

Compared to other creams in its class, this product really is unbelievably priced. For the experience it delivered, and the ingredients it has, I was blown away by how affordable it was.

One-Month Review: Is Derma E Good for Eczema?

All-natural, fragrance-free, soy-free, GMO-free, and 100% vegan, this cream even comes with its own wind energy certificates. Derma E has a major commitment to the environment and never tests on animals or uses animal products.

Without additives or chemical skin irritants, I think Derma E may be one of the most effective eczema products on the market.

While I hadn’t stumbled across it before, Derma E made an important point of noting that it doesn’t include tars either. I personally haven’t reviewed or used any products that have had tar in them, but I can see why that would be important to mention.

Since it’s all-natural, its effectiveness decreases over time. If you’re using this for routine flare-ups, I wouldn’t worry too much about its lessened shelf life. You’ll easily use it all before it starts to weaken. It will have a shelf life of about six months.

Day One

Unpacked my purchase after Amazon delivered it; quicker than I anticipated might I add! Woohoo!

I applied it at night time to my scalp and elbow areas after my bath. I usually get very itchy about 45 minutes after I get out of a bath or shower, but Derma E seemed to help fix that right away.

A few hours after applying it I hadn’t really itched in a while. I felt a light and soothing tingling, and I could feel it hydrating my skin. It felt absolutely amazing after having tried another less-than-effective eczema product for the previous two weeks.

Day Three

I used it morning and night and tried to always apply it immediately after a bath or shower. When I couldn’t do that, I took a warm washcloth and laid it on the area before I applied it.

On day three, I could see the really rough patches of my eczema diminishing. While I still had minimal itchiness around the larger and more lengthy patches, the cream’s effects were already noticeable around the edges of my flare-ups.

My skin was flaking less, and my skin seemed to be repairing itself in the more weak areas of my body.

One Week

This was the biggest change and the most noticeable difference in my product use. It was like I just woke up one morning and everything was better.

All the red, swollen, patches that underlie my rash areas had seemed to subside. Even the immense redness that I get from my scalp to my cheeks had regressed. I was thoroughly impressed.

I had really stopped the itch routine and had little to no flaking skin whatsoever. I was actually astounded on the seventh day to see just such noticeable improvement.

One Month

I really loved this product. After one-month of twice-a-day use, my skin was so much nicer. It was smooth in areas that hadn’t been smooth in months if not years, and it was looking good.

I normally don’t wear short sleeves or tank tops, but I didn’t think twice to put one on. My skin had actually begun to repair itself, and the scabbing areas had smoothed themselves out.

Also, my scarring was noticeably improved. Areas by my scalp that always seemed slightly red or never-quite-healed had totally gone away. I was actually shocked.

My itching never went away fully, though I doubt it ever will. However, it was noticeably absent from my day-to-day life. The cream absolutely lived up to everything it claimed to do and more.
